London Serpentine Gallery Art Experience–Painting a Landscape Inspired by David Hockney
Discover how colour can transform the way we see the world.
This unique summer art experience begins with a 30-minute visit to the Serpentine North Gallery in Hyde Park, where children will explore the work and artistic ideas inspired by David Hockney. Guided by experienced art teachers, they will learn how artists use colour, composition and personal expression to create vibrant landscapes.
After the gallery visit, the group will move into beautiful Hyde Park to observe the natural surroundings and paint an original landscape inspired by what they have seen. Children are encouraged to experiment with colour, develop their own ideas and create a unique artwork to take home.
